BACK ON BEAUTIFUL NORSTEN
After last year's amazing sailing trip to Norsten, we couldn't wait to go back. So, on Friday evening, me, David, and the girls set sail for another trip to our new favorite spot.
Unfortunately, the wind died down quickly, so we only made it to Mörtö-Bunsön by Friday night. The bay was packed with boats, but we had a great time anyway. We enjoyed some pizza on the way and ended the day with a beautiful sunset.
The next morning, we made a quick pit stop at Kymmendö to refuel, grab some extra supplies, and then set sail further south. This time, we discovered a small island in the southern part of Norsten’s archipelago. It was a close call getting to the rock, but after some clever anchor maneuvering, we made it. The low, rugged cliffs were absolutely stunning.
The evening was peaceful and perfect, so we fired up the grill as always. We had entrecôte with tabbouleh. A timeless classic on board Luffa.
On Sunday, with gentle southerly winds, we hoisted the spinnaker and sailed home at a relaxed pace. As always, Norsten didn’t disappoint.
